An Xray machine is multi-purpose, and can be used for any part of the body. As I said before, staff are paid regardless because they are by the hour, not by the pt. Majority if not all hospitals use electronic Xrays boards and have electronic system. This system would be maintained regardless. There would be a room for an Xray machine regardless --> I don't think ResAPP will be much use in diagnosing a foot fracture. Hence why all these are not taken into consideration during my opportunity cost of Xray vs ResAPP.

I don't accept your argument of "other unseen costs" because it's a vague statement you could make for any argument.

I'm sorry that your problems were misdiagnosed, however your view of medicine is simplistic.
You cannot diagnose diabetes off a pin-prick test, those pin-prick tests are only useful for monitoring diabetes.

Immunology is a tricky field and pinpointing common household allergens if often hard because of cross-reactivity.
Your Immunologist did right by you, and did the right test. However like any test, and like ResAPP, not test is foolproof.
