    If you want to cast your mind back to the 1996 election, Howard had no policies; he was playing a small target. All he had were some general exposition of views. He won because the majority of people were tired of Keating's arrogance (I was too). Labor then had been in government for too long and had held the electorate in contempt. We are now seeing the same attitude from the Coalition.

    If your are a Lib supporter, i would have thoguht that it is a god-sent opportunity that Labor has "no policies" and Howard will win the next election easily. But, but, why all these personal attacks, playing the man and not tha ball ?
