What about the 21months (Mar 2002 to Dec 2003) that the taxpayer was paying the nightly rate for him to stay in a house or unit that his wife owned. I don't know what the rate was then but at today rate of 190p/night that $121,000+, that would nearly have paid for the property back then. We not know why he said that Turnbull did'nt do anything wrong. Turnbull may not be the richest politician in parliament if you read the article on page 5 of to days Sunday Sun, Qld.
