    Optical chip success story Arasor to debut on the All Ordinaries Index Hi tech optical chip developer and manufacturer Arasor International Ltd (ASX: ARR has been included in S&P/ASX All Ordinaries Index effective close of trade on Friday 16 March 2007.

    When the market opened this morning, Arasor’s share price was $3.40 and has more than doubled since listing on the ASX in October 2006.
    Last month Arasor exceeded its prospectus forecasts for 2006 reporting revenue of $29.6million, an increase of 890 per cent on 2005 revenues of $3.3 million and an 8 per cent increase in the 2006 forecast of $27.4 million.

    Arasor’s success has been driven in large part by an experienced management team with a proven track record for implementing a business strategy that has already achieved significant results including securing significant purchase orders, completing field trials for WiMax and related wireless applications in China, partnering with Shanghai Open Labs for interactive television (ITV) trials and acquiring Xalted Networks wireless business in India.

    According to Arasor’s chairman and CEO Dr Simon Cao “Arasor’s highly skilled and experienced
    team generated and delivered scalable revenue growth in each of our major markets and will continue to pursue an aggressive strategy to expand and strengthen our market share and presence, particularly in China and India.”

    In 2007 Arasor expects revenue to be in excess of $120 million and net income to be in excess of $4 million. Increased penetration and bringing new solutions to market are expected to drive this increase in revenues. Arasor expects to be cash flow positive in the second half of 2007 and net profit margins to substantially increase in 2008 as it continues to realise benefits from high volume efficiencies and resource capacity.
