All beef is Halal. There is no opt out.
Over the border in Qld there is a chain of butcher shops who sell only non-halal meat processed at a small domestic works.
This chain is offering a premium of $1 kg above standard dressed weight prices to producers.
They are doing a roaring trade by all accounts.
