Gaps are a farce and overrated. Stocks can move up or down whether there is a gap or not, and illiquid stocks have a tendency to create more gaps due to poor spreads. For all we know the sp could head to 50c before it comes back to fill the gap for what ever reason and by selling now because there is a gap below may not be a wise move. Sure it could fill before it takes off again but there are much better technical signals that can be used for entry and exits.
