Given the CE Mark delays during 2016, the Company would have known that the approval was doubtful and require more trial evidence.
Not having more recent trials is one thing - but to continue to tell Shareholders during 2016 around their "confidence"of imminent CE approval demonstrates either incompetence, blind confidence or willful deception.
Not sure which one - confidence in management is goooone.... I pity the punters who did $$ listening to management during 2016.
