    This is BD's post:

Unfortunately Esh is wrong once again.
Cesium is a naturally occurring element, although almost never on its own, according to the Jefferson Lab, with a presence in several minerals. It has a density of nearly twice that of water, and is very ductile.
    Just the facts

    • Atomic number (number of protons in the nucleus): 55
    • Atomic symbol (on the periodic table of elements): Cs
    • Atomic weight (average mass of the atom): 132.90
    • Density: 1.086 ounces per cubic inch (1.879 grams per cubic centimeter)
    • Phase at room temperature: solid
    • Melting point: 83.1 degrees Fahrenheit (28.4 degrees Celsius)
    • Boiling point: 1,239.8 F (671 C)
    • Number of natural isotopes (atoms of the same element with a different number of neutrons): 1. There are also at least 39 artificial isotopes created in a lab.
    • Most common isotopes: Cs-133 (100 percent of natural abundance)
Note its mass is 132.90 and as with convention its designated Cs 113 as the natural form of Cesium that when it occurs in pollucite is not a short lived nuclear reactor isotope even though the isotopic range can include short lived Cs133. My earlier post only recognised some elevated Cs levels in drill sample assays that might be recoverable in due course and was never likely to be a priority.

I am not going to respond again to posts by Eshman as he has a poor comprehension of Science and its a waste valuable of time. I have no doubt some more nonsense will be posted - good bye Esh.

Read it carefully - "Mass of 132.90 and as with convention is designated Cs 113". No it is designated Cs133 as per atomic weight.

"even though the isotopic range can include short lived Cs133". Cs133 is the stable isotope and hence is not short-lived. All the other isotopes are unstable and hence decay over time.

I agree this has nothing to do with the prospects of KDR. I just object to someone claiming to be right and calling others wrong when in fact they aren't even posting factual information
