    I prefer a judge who waits until he/she hears all the evidence before they decide if a person is guilty.

    We, in our modern society, do not abide by the rules of the Wild West which ran on the dictum of 'Hang 'em now and hang them High'. No doubt you would just love that approach as, after all, a trial can be expensive and time consuming. Pity the potentially innocent person though.
