When I spoke to AVZ on Thursday, they thought that a portion would hit Friday and a portion Monday, but they couldn't confirm.
They may have already hit. If they hit Monday, I can't imagine many of the sophisticated investors or Klaus' associates shares would sell. Adding to that, it was oversubscribed and I believe Hartley's clients didn't receive any: correct me if wrong.
I'm not here to ramp, convince anyone to buy or sell: I'm excited about this project and can't wait for drilling results to follow.
The objective background information being freely expressed here has been amazing and has helped build a clear picture of what we should expect. However, let the experts dissect the information.
The so called 'gurus' I speak of, all only invest where they think the projects are viable, and there is a long list of successes where they have been either involved as contractors and/or personally invested. Hence I respect their commentary. If expressing professional views with evidence is ramping, then so be it.
I have a PhD in science myself and am busily upgrading my knowledge of geology, metallurgy and chemical engineering.
As a side note, I don't really understand the motives of some of the down-rampers here I must say.
Maybe they can explain what they are all protecting us from?
Just back it up with empirical data please.
I understand the sovereign risk; I think we all do. Move on.
Daily SP commentary: I'm here for 12 months minimum so who cares.
Geology: just leave it to those that know, looks great.
Management: can't ask for much more.
Potential: off the charts.
So the recipe is there for success.
I don't do charts: I just invest in what has a great potential resource and a great set of managers.
Hence why Klaus' and Nigel's expertise in the DRC was very important here.
Couple that to China's heavy involvement in the DRC, I rate the sovereign risk lower than Mali, Guyana, South Africa, etc, etc.
And yes, I spent time as an officer in the Army so have a bit of insight into real threat versus public perception.
Yep, would have been great in AU, but it's not.
These opportunities are extremely rare and as a disclosure, I have plenty invested too.
I'll say it again, let the drilling and metallurgy do the talking.
;D
