To pick up on my previous post in regards to where NUH should be going rather than focusing on the research right now, please don't be offended if I say that these kids just need to wait a little longer because NUH needs to establish themselves first!
Lets take Beats for example, Dr. Dre makes a bucket load of cash with good looking headphones, that represents him as a big & respected name in the music industry. But are they any good? NO. The price range can be as high as iQbuds, compared to headphones in the same price range, Sennheiser's, Bose you name will crap all over the Beats quality! That is a fact. And yet they are cool and people need to have them! Thats a fact.
Back to NUH:
Are they stylish? I give that a yes and this is where they are much better than Here-One as I think the look on of the earbud on the outside looks like cheap nasty earphones from 10 years ago (all these little holes, I hope someone remembers them)
Sound quality? Can't say, mine won't be in until March, but so far I haven't heard anything bad.
Webpage design? I like it.
Price? Yeah US $299 isn't exactly cheap, but look at other products available right now, they aren't far of but technology is way way advanced in our iQbuds!
Now where do I see the problem at the moment:
I constantly hear "hearing aids"... for christ sake they aren't hearing aids, they need to be sold as super cool and clever WIRELESS earbuds! To listen to music, to talk on the phone wireless, to utilise the noise cancellation and have the bonus of hearing conversation better in noisy areas! None of this hearing aids crap... you can't convince a 18yo old by telling them they are hearing aids!!! And whoever posted this spending chart the other day, I don't think your 75 year old grandmother buys a lot of modern technology... let that be the latest curved TV, wireless speakers & co... (sry Suzzee no offense) but iQbuds are made for young people always chasing the latest tech & hype. Thats where we need to go as this will bring in the moneys required to develope other things, "help" others and run proper marketing... which is exactly why Beats are so successful, hyping up average headphones with lots of marketing!
