CA Mobray is the alternate director for Alan Birchmore yet UMC did not mention if Burchmore's position will be filled.

Perhaps Birchmore will be re-elected...who knows?

It's no secret that many directors hold positions in various listed and unlisted companies. I'm just not comfortable with company secretaries doing likewise, especially since secretaries of public listed companies usually take on the role of PR person. In UMC’s case the secretary also holds the positions of executive director and Chief Financial Officer and company secretary of IOH.

Is this not a conflict of interest?
