This aligns with my findings that the plumbers that don't trust Sharkbite tend to be the older breed that stick with the traditional crimping methods that they know and hence, already have the tools for and confidence to install properly. The simple passage of time as these older plumbers leave the workforce will work in Sharkbites favour.
The 25 year warranty on Sharkbites products is also made void if used in conjunction with other cheaper products, such as Auspex. Given the warranty appears a big drawcard for plumbers, this also works in Sharkbites favour in terms of encouraging exclusive use of their products.
