I put up 25 pounds many years ago as a silent partner (venture capital) in a start up advertising company and wasn't prepared to put more money in at a later date . This small advertising company moved on without me , one of the directors ( 3) of this company was a litigation solicitor and pushed me out changed the name of the company and left me with zip . The contract was was drawn up by this scumbag and had a clause in it I didn't have it checked by an independent solicitor through inexperience just stupidly thought they wouldn't shaft me as that was a lot of money back then . There's a saying , " there are two partners one with experience and one with the money the one with money will end up with the experience and the one with the experience will end up with the money . Lawyers are like accountants feather their own nests .
