I was wondering what other traders thought on when to free ride a stock. Is it done at a few bags, doubled or when the amount of capital out balances the portfolio and need to shift the risk. I hear people say "you can't go broke taking profits" but on the other hand I hate giving away good profits to on a rising stock. So far I've got it right but I have also got it terrible wrong. Eg last week I free ride selling half of MUS and now today I find myself thinking of all the $$$$ I'm missing. Any suggestions would be apreciated.
