The question is who is really going to pay if they win? Is BAL covered by various company and executive liability insurances to pay for the defence or payout in a case of a win, lose or draw? If insurances cover all eventualities then should not the company advise shareholders ?

imo asx is a casino by another name yet people expect their investment to be insured for the risk of doing business everywhere on earth and legal action is seen as a remedy for management making timing mistakes or misjudging foreign country lawmakers intentions on free trade arrangements etc. Legal action is always an option but will it be really worth all the angst and distracting the company executives away from running the business to worry and divert time to prepare for the court action? imo NO. Those who are still shareholders and also supporting legal action are imo dillusional and must enjoy self destruction while making the legal firms more money. Good luck has shifted to the legal firms.
