BP were smart - they did the sums on cash needed to convert to GWh under management. They KNEW LPE were growing too fast and predicted the cash flow crisis before management even had any idea. They forced the SP down all the while loading up. They know the model is sound and the way LPE are growing its only a matter of time for it to be a success

few months ago LPE were in trouble and got a short term loan. got them out of a bind but made them realize they need to raise funds to convert their current pipeline. lo and behold BP come knocking "hey we can help you out"

Typical startup issues - growing too fast and cash flow issues.
kudos to BP! smarter than the rest. me included.
