why is everyone assuming former option holders are selling? i had all options and converted 95% of them and selling none of them shares now....
majority of the option holders either:
- got them for free as part of the capital raise.....and are therefore likely top 20 or management, so they aren't selling, or;
- paid for them on market like everyone did with shares... then paid one cent to exercise them.... so they still cost them money like a shareholder.... (this was me)...
i'm even less likely to sell as my cgt 12 month holding period has only started upon converting to fully paid shares....
i note that some people may have borrowed to convert their options, so they might be selling some to pay off the borrowings..... but, that's the same as someone who borrows to buy shares...people still had the choice to sell off their options rather than borrow to convert....
i can only speculate this is first resources and a few impatient worriers selling down...
not worried... there will be plenty of news over the next month...and i feel safer being in deep into this stock after yesterday 's news than i ever have before...
