My post re GE was just reflecting my skepticism re ADRC becoming THE standard. That doesn't mean that I think it doesn't have a good shot at being successful. I wouldn't bother hanging around if that were the case.

I just think the success will be more in niche markets rather than being a dominant player, with ADRC in every device.

If it were that obvious that it had the potential to be dominant, it would surely be obvious to Intel or the other MOU or some other big player. After all, the team has been out there touting their wares for some time now. But that has not happened. Why? Intel, for example, has acquired a lot of companies in the IoT space over the past year to build/improve its platforms. Why not Xped if ADRC has the potential that many here believe it has. Can the Intel engineers and analysts be that blind?

Intel engineers & analysts have validated ADRC via porting it to Intels Gateway, & their OCF patronage.

You're also assuming that Intel hasn't already tried to acquire Xped. The short-lived Lisa saga suggests as much, at least to me that is. If not, then what was her placement all about anyway?

Pure speculation, of course. We may never know.
