Won't happen. It's far to complicated to achieve given the different JV partners on each LNG project and long term purchase agreements from each JV. Not to mention the relatively poor perform of the Roma field in comparison to the APLNG assets. Santos would need to take a mighty haircut to get a merger over the line which would likely short change shareholders.
