QAN has been dumped big in last two days - in excess of 100 million swapped hands forcing the sp way down below what was considered fair value in terms of the APA buyout bid ($5.18). Looks like there are many out there thinking that the bid will fail and are opting out before the sp dumps down to pre-bid prices around the $4.30 mark. If one is willing to punt that the bid will succeed the yield at the current price of $5.09 would be in excess of 7%. Not bad for a couple or so months to wait for. Anyone willing to take the punt? AFG will fly regardless of QAN bid succeeding or not in my view.
