Bloody hard to hit tho, I worked on a piggy farm in NSW a thousand years ago and we tried to shoot them for the same reason, they hassled the piglets. I only had a .22 and was a fair shot but never ever hit one, not in the air, on the ground, on a post, they clearly have the ability to dodge bullets. You must have had a shotgun and yes, you'd have to have been in a hide.
Btw a couple of days ago I noticed the quality of posts getting quite technical and significantly intelligent, which worried me a bit, but then I saw things slide into silliness again thanks to Max and Koko Lockie and JJ et Al. Thought for a moment you'd all lost it.
