You probably shoudnt have a margin loan without at least understanding what a margin call is.
You are allowed to lend 75% (or thereabouts) or the value of your portfolio. If the value of your portfolio drops, making your loan greater than the 75%, you have to sell enough stock to get back under the 75% buffer. That is a margin call.
