Again I have to disagree in some respects. Firstly there are no generic brands on Fruit and Veg and also
meat and chicken etc
ALDI is able to lower their prices due to varies reasons such as less staff , no plastic bags , limited range,
no free credit etc etc
Basically they don't have all the bells and whistles that wally has but that is their point of difference,
this lower overhead model allows them to offer similar products at lower prices.
I have tried micro wave rice from both Aldi and Wallys and there is no difference in quality
only price Wally $ 1.60 for 250g and Aldi $ 1.49 for 250g
Wally is 7.5 % more expensive for basically the same item.
That's just one example, some other items offer larger discounts.
Sorry there are no plastic bags but these will be phased out soon by Wally as the environmental damage is
massive . Better get used to it Crazy and bring your own bag. Recycle my man, Recycle
