Modern energy storage solutions are indispensable for the future technology. Research is being carried out worldwide on methods that are to be used later in areas such as electric mobility or energy supply. Lithium-ion-based energy storage units, for which graphite as an anode material is an important starting raw material, play an important role. These are mainly produced in Asia - and this region has been targeted by the graphite company Kibaran Resources ( ASX: KNL / WKN: A1C8BX ) together with the sales partner Sojitz Corporation. The graphite, which Kibaran Resources has already promoted on the Epanko project, has been successfully running several stringent test series for some time. In order to be used in energy storage systems, strict technical specifications must be met by the anode producers. In addition, the graphite must not be excessively contaminated. Contaminants can negatively affect the performance of batteries and accumulators, which should be excluded from the market. Recently, Kibaran Resources was able to report positive first test results for the graphite supported on Epanko, we reported (link: http://www.goldinvest.de/?p=34992). There are other, very positive test results. Asian anode producers have thoroughly tested the Epanko material and further processed it industrially - an important factor since the graphite is also to be demonstrated outside the laboratory conditions in the real production world. The results of the tests show: Both chemically and physically, the raw material sponsored by Kibaran Resources requires all prerequisites to be used as an anode material. The next test series is available in Germany It is the last of a series of advances that the Australian company is making on the road to established producers. Successful completion of the test series is a major milestone. Still, these are not completed, further tests will take place in Germany in a battery factory. Anyway, with ThyssenKrupp, a local company is one of the supporters of Kibaran Resources and is interested in the raw material, which is promoted at Epanko. Together with the Sojitz Corporation, which is enormously well networked in the industry, the company has strong partners who play key-rolls in the development of the producer and securing sales channels for the graphite. The good test results fit well into the overall picture of Kibaran Resources as the parallel development work on the Epanko project in Tanzania is also making great progress - we reported (link: http://www.goldinvest.de/?p=35370). A lot is to be done: A feasibility study is in progress, resettlements have to be planned and carried out, drill samples from an exploration program are examined. The fact that the positive newsflow from Australia tears off is therefore not to be expected for the next time. Financing negotiations are also very advanced.
