Just asked a Techy to check all the links.

He had know problem at all.

This is what he posted.

is he able to access any sites at all?

Yes: then he is mistyping the address or his ISP has a routing or DNS problem

No: he may have an infection in IE if he's using that browser.

hi mate,

getting "Cannot find server" error is most certainly a typo! if he is able to search and get results, ask him to type just the address in the address bar (he may be typing it in the search box instead) and ask him to include the http:// portion as well.

if he types it and finds the same problem then it's his ISPs DNS problems, nothing you can do about it.

a simple test!

get him to open a DOS prompt and type the following:

ping www................. the address in question, if he gets unknown server, then it is a DNS issue for sure, if he is able to browse OK, then the issue is with his ISPs DNS server and not at his end ;)

Tibbs, it sounds like it must be a problem at your end.

Try the above and hopefully it will work.

Let us know how you go.
If problem persists, you may have to contact your service provider. It happened to me once.

A real pain.
