I am always a little puzzled by the consideration given to interest rates by gold investors.

Relative to other pricing factors, a 0.25% change in the notional cost of carry for gold is two tenths of bugger all.

If I was holding gold at the moment, I wouldn't lose a moments sleep over what the Fed might or might not do next week.
