I just noticed an error in something that I said...
"The APG process uses 75% less energy than the Becher process to produce every tonne of TiO2" should read "The APG process uses 25% less energy than the Becher process to produce every tonne of TiO2" (ie 75% OF the Becher energy consumption)
It doesn't change the cascaded calculations re energy implications for DRI. Note that in the absence of plant data, it is pretty tricky to come up with hard and fast figures though. It would be nice if the BHP report was announced to the market .... but that ain't going to happen is it. All care, not responsibility!!!
