@sprintingduck The main source of quality rubies in the world now is Montepuez in Mozambique .MUS is one of only two listed companies with ground in the area ....the other is Gemfields .....I suggest you check their market cap.
Recently I had the pleasure of seeing some faceted stones from this part of the world .....their colour was superb - a vivid red and their clarity was excellent with very few inclusions . A 2ct stone in particular that I looked at was stunning but unfortunately out of my budget
Once Mustang establish a niche in the market they will have consistent cash flow and more importantly market recognition.Already some of the wholesalers I deal with are talking about genuinely looking forward to seeing what stones Mustang can produce as an alternative to sourcing from Gemfields
