It seems the retail bears are throwing the kitchen sink at the SP500, extreme short positioning. I wonder if Martis et al is getting a bashed face, black eyes and burst lips on a daily basis? I did a few speculative shorts on AUDUSD and cross and I got a nose bleed, enough to teach me to stay clear of the short positioning. I flip the long side yesterday and today and managed to make some meal out of it. Did a spec long a few hours ago, nothing to shout about but it is a profit. Reflect that to another stubborn bottom picking I did long EURAUD yesterday and abandon trade with some losses, didn't wait for the stops to hit!

On the flip side the XAUUSD is moderately long backed so retail holders do sometimes profits. Well I still consider myself a retail trader so currently profiting in gold albeit indirectly.
