    People are buying the shares now on the basis that they will be getting the rights

    The share price therefore reflects the potential for the company to make a profit PLUS the rights issue of 2 for 5 @ .53 each

    I wouldn't underestimate the market on this.
    Analysts using financial models of this company would have plugged in all the relevant figures and come up with what the company is worth at the time of the announcement.
