The biggest reason retail punters lose (and the industry thinks more than 90% of retail eventually lose) is they don't take profits when they pop up occasionally. Retail punters are totally blind sided by insiders, all markets are rife with insiders there's nothing any exchange can do about it. Retail punters are the last to know anything about any stock. Most don't want to hear this and in fact you'll see posters say things like the 'stock is flying under the radar' or 'the market doesn't know about this yet' - how comical.
maybe LOM will get lucky one day, maybe not, depends how long you're prepared to wait. It's at least 8 years so far for many....
