I contacted management a few hours ago. I called and reached the Executive Assistant Alison Kerr. She immediately contact Travis and Hamish to see if either could get in touch with me. Hamish called me back in less than 30 minutes. He answered my questions thoroughly (more on that below).

I highly recommend you try contacting the company again. I have made money from many companies that have WORSE communications than AQI. If anything, communications have improved, because I don't believe Alison was involved when you last attempted to contact.

As for the call itself: I have only ever talked to Hamish Halliday. My previous conversations with him were excellent, and gave me reason to build a large position with AQI. While this was also a very good conversation, unfortunately my mobile connection was spotty, and I may have missed some details. Still, I have the following notes to share:

-NONE of the insiders/management are converting/selling any options. We should not expect overhang from this (though it seems like there is some right now, i think this has more to do with lack of interest/volume trading). Some options have obviously been converted (I believe at least partially to cover taxes), but it should remain minimal. Personally, I do not expect share price to go lower in the short-term.

-We should expect plenty of newsflow. While I am not necessarily confident that drilling news itself will be quick, there will be Ianna news, as well as trenching news for Xenops, 14-mile, & Eyelash. In addition, we should expect Xenops to be drilled at some point this year (which I'm very happy about, since it was not specified in the recent NR). I hope to see multiple NRs in the next 1-2 months, even if it's not drilling results. I think it's easy to forget how much the company has going for it, and it's up to management to prove they are working on multiple things at once.

-I think the most frustrating thing for most speculators like myself was to not immediately see high-grade/wide interesections from Year 1 of drilling. While I missed some details here, my impression is that Barrick is really looking for the a 'big-time' deposit here. AQI could be drilling in a way to get results that excite the market...but are less likely to lead to the Barrick end-goal. Knowing this, I do think there's a chance we continue to NOT get exciting drilling results in the next phase or two of drilling (a possibility: Barrick may like the results, but the market doesn't). But each phase that goes by, I think the chances of something better increases. This is partially my opinion, but I got this impression from talking with Hamish.

Anyway, I am much more confident continuing to hold my AQI shares after speaking with Hamish. I highly recommend anyone interested in AQI to contact management themselves to verify anything I have just written (don't assume I am 100% correct), and perhaps learn even more and share here.
