    Hi Jennifer

I think drugs are a concern sure, but so are many things in the world, drugs being fairly minor in the scheme of things.

yes I have a young daughter (2yrs) and no i wouldnt want her taking drugs, but I do want her to experience life and not be rolled up in cotton wool like most parents try to do which backfires on them when their children get into the big smoke and arent prepared for whats going to happen.

Maybe I should chain her up to her bed until shes say 30 year old, so she doenst take drugs, have sex, drink alcohol, drive a car causing emissions and car accidents, let her go overseas because of terrorism, or get in a plane for the same reason, or eat anything because she may get cancer, or high cholesterol, or have a heart attack, better not cross roads or get on trains, dont look at the sun, dont go to the beach (sharks, cancer, sunburn, blotchy skin, peodifiles, muggers) I could go on for ever.

But then I thought about it, she may develop skin sores from being stuck chained for so long, and she needs sun so they say to help her live and breathe, so I guess im in a delima, what do I do, let her live a life of good, bad, happy, sad, perfects, mistakes or just keep her chained up.

Drugs aren't the best thing for you but neither is hairspray or coffee or oil leaks in the sea or sunburn or divorce or parents that keep their kids hidden from the real world.

    Hope this answers your question.

    Warnie
