Just a minor correction there madan re: the mineral price boom. Out West back in 2000 there woddont won. We had highest unemployment rate in Australia (over 7.1%), lowest housing prices etc. Big profitable mines such as Telfer were put on 'care and maintenance' and mining contractors were going broke. But for the past couple of years things haven't gone too bad.
