Interesting BM that no recognition has been given to the fact $290m of this debt has already been approved by shareholders for conversion to equity, albeit at terms favourable to MK.
The HC topic heading should therefore more correctly have read "$270 mil debt"
Subsequent discussion could then have focussed on the time it will take Lynas to repay or restructure that debt into a manageable repayment program. This will most certainly happen once the price of RE increases and Lynas operating cash flow dwarfs the remaining JARE debt.
