take a look at the share price chart of the buyer (NDO) from the day they bought that asset - ~$1.00 down to $0.045 today (gone well for them hasnt it?) Otto sold for something like US$34 per barrel, 2P in the ground - doesn't look like such a bad call seeing as, oil hit US$28 per barrel not long afterwards and NDO looking like they will book a US$17mm loss for 2016. Moreover, OEL more or less replaced the galoc reserves for just a few bucks per barrel. They have some work to do in other areas for sure, but on that sale deal, it would seem the accountants maybe got that one right....
