On the topic of cheese not being an AHF product currently, I noticed this paragraph in the Dec 19th announcement regarding the acquisition of the industrial zoned land that may be of some interest:
"The primary reason for this acquisition is that the board is in advanced discussions with multiple potential joint venture partners in respect of different but compatible dairy processing opportunitieswhere the depth of operational experience and flexible capability of CDC is a valuable input.
Each of the ventures under discussion require CDC to provide the operational and technical expertise and construction management oversight with the prospective partners providing a level of funding along with longer term take-off agreements. Each venture will require the installation and operation of new plant, equipment and processes that CDC does not currently have, although would greatly benefit from having access to, for greater product diversification."
It's a good possibility one of these joint venture partners is Tianmei considering this announcement came just 3 weeks after the Tianmei prospectus was released and that the cheese game is one of the planned "product diversifications". Either way it is comforting to see AHF is in the process of growth through partnerships and expanding product ranges, I'm very curious to see what news and updates their next report has to share.
