    Don't you understand what he's doing. He is basically allowing himself the opportunity to vote with the federal labor party to allow more mining but will use his state powers to prohibit the new mines within WA for at least the foreseeable future. i.e. he keeps his environmental promise to the WA voters whilst at the same time following the leader with the federal party and other states. Smart political move but I agree Queensland miners look much more interesting than WA ones given this stance.
