I've been mulling over that all weekend and I don't know what to make of it. I'm expecting a true turn to be accompanied by a sharp spike in volume and that didn't happen so as you say, not conclusive.
However once it turned at 9500 the selling was pretty constant without the big dips and spikes that usually occur.
I tend to believe that how the Index goes into the close is as important as the final numbers. There was no kick at the end as has been the case recently. So........maybe.
