As I said yesterday IAM either have a MOU with NAB or they don't....IMO it can't be in the middle.
If this was that important to NAB that they though the unions, staff or media would be on to this, they would have kept the trial secret under rule 3.1 A, or alternatively been on the front foot and made an announcement to the ASX. It seems they did not have those concerns so to me it has little to do with any of the groups mentioned above.
There, it would seem, has been a break down in communications or a complete misunderstanding of what a MOU is.
I do think IAM using the word "commercial" in the original trading halt was warranted given the actual announcement details. DB
