No, the trend is what ever the direction before a correction, be it minor or major.

At this point is the trend up or down?

Both, depending on degrees.

The trend up will only be confirmed with a break above the Feb highs and the trend down will only be confirmed with a break below this months lows.

So it is the principle and can be of different degrees.

So the trend up is in doubt because of the time taken and the trend down would need to see new lows within 16 trading days or it too would be in doubt, presuming last Monday isn't exceeded.
