I ended up selling @ 0.82c so took a big hit, almost enough to rattle my confidence and turn me off equities for good. It seems no matter how thorough I research a company it essentially comes down to chance.. like betting - only instead of betting on horses you're betting on the financial results which are mostly unknown until the those two times a year. This stock has taught me that even dividends are just as susceptible as capital so can't even rely on dividend stocks.
Going forward I think I'll only invest in long term agri REIT stocks which pay constant dividends - they seem to be the safest in my opinion. Banks will crash once the credit crunch hits.
