By 2025 I'd be willing to bet any amount of money that a synthetic product will be far more advanced in terms of quality, cost and consistency than anything we'll dig out of the ground ever again.
And still, if I'm wrong and your numbers work out to be true, then the need for a consistent supply would be paramount. Which means synthetic will draw an even larger market share. I see no scenario where the natural resource will be the way forward. It is a stagnant product with a limited amount of supply. If it can be made in a lab then best believe it will be.
