At a conservative level, the 7 special stones should fetch $USD1,029,000 & the 6,221cts should fetch USD$622,000 - Total USD1,651,000 = AUD$2,185,000
First commercial parcel of rubies totalling 6,221cts sent to USA in January 2017 Parcel includes 5 special stones (75cts total weight), including two rare 24-ct rubies, none of which require treatment. Two additional ‘special stones’ of more than 5cts to be added to the parcel to be cut including one high quality 11ct ruby
Current asking prices in the US for unenhanced (untreated) Mozambique rubies between 4.00 and 4.99cts is US$18,425/ct (Lower Fine) to US$42,000 (Upper Extra Fine)*

2. 23.84ct (my estimate $25,000ct cut down to 12ct = USD$302,000
3. 13.99ct (my estimate $25,000ct cut down to 6ct = USD$150,000

5. 5.57ct (my estimate $2,000ct cut down to 2.5ct = USD$5,000
6. 11ct (my estimate $18,000ct cut down to 6ct = USD$108,000
7. 7ct (my estimate $18,000ct cut down to 4ct = USD$72,000
I believe the market is valuing the 7 stones & the first commercial parcel at AUD1m at the moment, anything higher than AUD2m will send the share price skyrocketing. The market is also not valuing the 14,952cts in inventory as at the end of January. With the major ramp up of processing during February I think we may get an operational update next week - difficult to guess what the inventory will be but I'm sure it will please everyone. They'll probably announce one or two more special stone discoveries too
