It must be enough for more than one litigation financier to be pursing it. Without going into the micro details a 50% loss of the share price in a couple of days in late 2016 where the market cap was around the $1.1Bn before the drop tells me there is plenty of room to move with a Class Action. Even though I am not a fan of Class Actions there are some companies that just invite them and deserve their wrath...this is one and the named ex-directors being pursued on criminal charges for trading whilst in a position of privilege.

I suspect that it will end up as only one Class Action (if there are really two out there) so if successful the pie of rewards will get chopped up into smaller pieces and if the company's D&O insurance doesn't cover it sufficient to allow the company to continue trading then there could be some other form of compensation...major share issue in lieu is one option and that will dilute everyone.

So the CA issue for BAL is a sticky one and here to stay for now, as much as some want it to just wash away in the rain.
