But, @nihilism (another very respectful poster with engineering background), posted last week, 'sulphides are not much cheaper than laterites, sulphides are easier to process; laterites are easier to mine but hard to process'. (thanks nihilism)
KNP (ARL/ex-HRR) had a hostile takeover from nearby company whom owned a HPAL plant. They are now in care and maintenance and the company seems on the verge of wind up.
ARL might be lucky to pick that HPAL for a small outlay.
