Though most tend to think the Chinese market is overvalued, it may well be. As it has increased by incredible amount over the last couple of years (well over 100%)...
This recent growth has to be tempered with the fact that the Shanghai index has had virtually minimal growth from 2000 till about 2005. Domestic investors can only earn about 2% on their money. The Chinese economy is growing at about 3 or 4 times that of the more mature economies in North America and Europe....
