Blurb from the announcement 3/11/2016: “We will release updates during the drilling campaign until completion, upon which time the Diamond Drill rig will move to the Mt Adrah Gold Project, expected in early December”.

Blurb from the announcement 15/12/2016: "With the confirmation of the high-grade extension to the mineralised zone and the strong market outlook for the Zinc price, currently trading around nine (9) year highs, the company will look to expedite its phase three (3) drilling program for early 2017."

I wouldn't say it's "fake news". It seems the original plan was to move the rigs to Mt Adrah straight after the initial drilling at Halls Peak. Of course that all changed when the initial drilling at Halls Peak brought in some excellent results combined with the High Zinc price.
