I agree aimone,
But dropping corporate tax and failing to pursue the corporate tax dodgers and increase personal tax to compensate
is not the way to go as this Government & big business would want us to believe.
Our chief strengths economically is abundant resources, vast tracts of land to produce cheap food but big business
and multinationals aided by government have managed to up our cost of living to that of countries importing our exports
yet keep personal income , which for some, is on the threshold of poverty.
It seems absurd to be paying $4/kg for spuds and $3 a pot for avacadoes when one can buy spuds & avacadoes in the UK
for half that.
Similarily it seems absurd to be paying more for our electricity that the Chinese when China imports the coal & gas ,
aluminium & copper from Aus to generate and distribute their electricity.
Wouldn't it be nice if we had a government that looked ofter Aussies first rather than pandering to the profit motive of big business and multinationals.
Trickle down economics in today's globalised economy doesn't work.
And the Labor Party has lost the plot; stunned by union corruption.
